Book Descriptions

We take great care in ensuring that our books are accurately and honestly described. Generally, all faults are noted and carefully described using the criteria below

P(poor) describes a book that is worn to only merit a reading copy. It should have the complete text that is legible. The copy may be scuffed, stained and may have weak hinges, loose pages etc.

G(good) describes a book that is complete but may have loose and open tears on dust jacket. Shows significant amounts of fading and bumping.

VG(very good) describes a book that shows signs of wear including nicks and closed tears under ½ inch long. Shows creases and general bumping and fading.

NF(near fine) describes a book that shows small signs of wear. Minor nicks, light bumping and creasing.

F(fine) shows very small nicks and tiny creases. Perhaps indicates shelf wear.

M(mint) describes and book in pristine condition as it might be purchased new.
